Digitization Project:
“TamilNadu Government Old Records/Documents/Books/Palm Leaf preserved in various Government Departments are to be digitized. Digitization of Old Records will be in various sizes ranging from A0 to A4 in stitched files/volumes in printed format. At present ELCOT is doing Digitization work for the various Government Departments. The various types of scanning are listed below:
- Digitization of Old Documents/Records/Books, Palm Leaves, Coins, Photographs, Photo Negative, Maps and Positive Films/Slides.
- Estampages of inscription
- Microfilm Roll/Microfiche Conversion from/to Digital Records
- Application Software for Search & Retrieval of the digitized documents
